Physics vs. Geology

Why we grow CVD diamonds.

Unlike High-Pressure High-Temperature (HPHT) methods, which often use metal catalysts that leave magnetic metallic inclusions inside the crystal, Mira Gems exclusively uses Chemical Vapor Deposition.

Inside our reactors, methane gas is ionized by high-frequency microwave fields, and free carbon atoms attach in a pure tetrahedral lattice on a diamond seed. By eliminating metal catalysts entirely, our output achieves absolute chemical cleanliness — Type IIa purity, the top 2% of diamonds found globally.

Established Tradition

A journey to scale, on the record.

  1. 2013

    Laboratory genesis

Third-generation diamantaires established Mira Gems' first CVD research lab in Surat, partnering with material scientists to construct high-vacuum microwave plasma chambers.

  2. 2016

    The flawless carat

Grew our first continuous 1-carat raw crystal with zero internal nitrogen blemishes, and brought faceting and polishing in-house.

  3. 2019

    Renewable decoupling

Acquired a dedicated solar photovoltaic farm and transitioned 100% of reactor power load to solar electricity, securing carbon-neutral production.

  4. 2022

    Global logistics hubs

Incorporated sales and logistics offices in Antwerp, New York, and Hong Kong, enabling secured global shipping and direct customs-clearance support.

Traceability Matrix

From reactor seed to polished gem.

We maintain absolute, audited custody records at every milestone of the manufacturing chain — the documentation a compliance officer can verify.

  1. 01

    Seeding

    Diamond seed preparation

Pure Type IIa diamond seeds are selected and logged with dimension and crystal-orientation specs before any growth begins.

  2. 02

    Growing

    CVD reactor cycle

Atom-by-atom crystallization inside solar-powered chambers, with growth duration and pressure telemetry recorded per batch.

  3. 03

    Planning

    3D laser mapping

Each rough is mapped by computerized 3D laser scanners to plot optimal facet configurations and exclude stress boundaries.

  4. 04

    Crafting

    Lapidary faceting

Laser cutting shapes the rough, followed by manual polishing on high-precision friction wheels by veteran artisans.

  5. 05

    Auditing

    Grading & inscription

Stones are graded by IGI or GIA and girdle-inscribed with a microscopic registry number matching our digital ledger.
